Sheikh Hasina has strongly criticized the Yunus-led interim government regarding religious extremism in Bangladesh. This incident happened a few days after the murder of student leader Sharif Usman Hadi. In an email interview with ANI, Hasina alleged that the 'anarchy' that had led to the toppling of her rule has increased manifold under Yunus' rule. The former Prime Minister of Bangladesh also raised the issue of atrocities against minorities in the country. Hasina further said that the unrest would destabilize Bangladesh's relations with its neighboring countries.
