He explained that while a secret agent's job is exciting, it is also full of responsibility and risk.

According to Lucky Bist, a secret agent earns a monthly salary of approximately one to one and a quarter lakh rupees. This amount might sound like a large corporate package, but the challenges of this job are equally significant. Agents have to constantly risk their lives for national security, gather intelligence, and complete missions.  Besides this, they receive rigorous training, have to work under cover, experience constant stress, remain away from their families, and live a life of constant uncertainty.

Allowances are More Important Than Salary

A secret agent's earnings are not limited to just their salary. Lucky Bist explained that the real benefit comes from the allowances they receive. Different types of allowances are given depending on the mission location, risk, and responsibility. If an agent is deployed in a sensitive area, they receive an additional allowance.

Operation Fund is Separate

Lucky Bist also revealed in the podcast that the operation fund given to a secret agent is separate from their salary or allowances. This fund is used for expenses related to the mission, such as obtaining information, travel, purchasing necessary equipment, or emergency expenses. This fund is not the agent's personal income, but it is considered crucial for the mission.

Their Life is Completely Different from Ordinary Life

A secret agent's life, while appearing glamorous from the outside, is incredibly difficult on the inside. They have to live under a false identity. Often, even their families don't know what they actually do. Working under constant pressure, fear, and uncertainty is not easy.
