Rukhma Akhtar, a promising young actress from Punjab, Pakistan, is quickly making her mark in the entertainment industry. She made her television debut in ARY Digital’s drama series Kafeel, produced by Big Bang Entertainment, written by Umera Ahmed, and directed by Meesam Naqvi. In the series, Rukhma plays the character of Jami’s love interest, winning praise for her convincing portrayal of a negative role.
Rukhma Akhtar completed her BS (Honours) in Psychology from Forman Christian College University (FCCU) in 2019. She hails from Punjab and completed her schooling and higher education in Lahore.
Before stepping into acting, Rukhma spent around five years in the modelling industry. She has walked major fashion events, including PFDC, establishing herself as a familiar face in the Pakistani fashion scene.
Rukhma first appeared on television in 2022 as a co-host on Mazaqraat alongside Vasay Chaudhary on Dunya News, before moving on to her acting debut in Kafeel.
Rukhma Akhtar is currently single and fully dedicated to her acting career. Off-screen, she is known for her bold and friendly personality, often sharing glimpses of her daily life and quality time with friends and family on social media.
Her performance in Kafeel has been widely appreciated, marking her as one of the emerging talents to watch in Pakistani television.
