“At the moment, I am backing Germany to win the 2026 World Cup,” said AKBP Indra Wijatmiko on Monday, 15 June 2026.

The senior officer believes that the blend of experienced and young players under Julian Nagelsmann will guide Die Mannschaft to their fifth World Cup title.

Among the veterans, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer remains a solid presence at 40 years old, while 31-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich continues to lead as captain and a role model.

On the younger side, 22-year-old Nathaniel Brown also found the net against Curaçao, and Jamal Musiala, dubbed a German wonderkid, has become a key player for both Germany and Bayern Munich.
