New Delhi : The government is going to make some major changes soon in the Employees Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO. After these changes, withdrawing money from EPFO ​​can be even easier. Union Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandavia has given this information on Friday. He has told that the new updated version of EPFO ​​can start in the coming month i.e. the month of May to June. After which more than 9 crore account holders will get the benefit of this update.

The Labor Minister has said that digital correction on the new platform, the facility of withdrawing money from ATM and modern facilities like auto claim settlement. With this, the EPF process will become even easier and fastened. Which means that after that EPFO ​​account holders will neither need to go to office for claim nor fill a long wide form for it.

EPF 3.0 will get much more facility

Mansukh Mandavia has stated that the updated versions of EPFO ​​3.0 will make the services easier compared to much earlier and can be implemented with a strong IT system. In this, along with easily viewing pension or withdrawal information, account holders will also get the facility to update their data through OTP verification.

The Union Labor Minister further has a fund of Rs 27 lakh crore with 'government guarantee' and gives 8.25 percent interest with the 'government guarantee'. The already implemented centrally implemented pension payment system benefits more than 78 lakh pension holders, as it provides them to get pension in any bank account across the country and before that the need to keep an account in nominated regional banks has ended.

You will not have to put office rounds

Mandavia has said that the government is also considering the integration of various social security schemes including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and Shramik Jan Dhan Yojana to systematic and strengthen pension coverage. He asked to make health service accessible for the workers that the employees of Employees State Insurance Corporation i.e. ESIC will soon be able to get free medical treatment in the listed hospital under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

Also, Private Charitable Hospitals nominated to expand social security will be brought under its purview. At present, ESIC provides free treatment to about 18 crore people through 165 hospitals, more than 1,500 dispensaries and about 2,000 listage hospitals.
