Whatsapp New Feature: WhatsApp has started testing a new and very useful feature for Android users, so that now you will be able to translate chat messages directly within the app. This feature is currently being released in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.12.25 and is especially useful for those who communicate in different languages.
What is special in the feature
According to the information, the biggest feature of this feature is that all translations happen locally on your phone. That is, your chat is not sent to any outside server, due to which your privacy is completely safe. WhatsApp's own translation engine is being used in this, which works even without internet.
Some beta users have started seeing this feature in the Chat Info section, from where they can download different language packs and set different translation preferences for each chat or group. As soon as this feature is activated, users can choose from languages like Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese. Once the language is selected, the app automatically downloads the pack of that language. If desired, a special pack can also be installed which automatically recognizes many languages.
You can also translate automatically
If you want, users can automatically translate all the messages in a chat or just tap on a particular message and choose the 'Translate' option. In this way, you can use this feature according to your need. WhatsApp has also clarified that whether the translation is correct or a little wrong, you can give feedback but this never shares your messages with Meta or any third party.
