Dry Fruit Poha Recipe: Poha is a hit as a breakfast. It is not only delicious in taste but is also good for digestion. Due to these reasons, the number of people who like it is very high. Poha can be made in many ways. Today we are going to tell you the recipe of making dry fruit poha. It is very easy to make. This dish will be liked by children as well as adults. If you want, you can also keep it in the lunch box of children. Those who eat it will ask to make it again and again. Dry fruits and other spices are used to prepare it. Everyone wants to make such a dish for breakfast which is tasty as well as healthy. It fits perfectly on both these parameters.
Ingredients
Poha – 1 cup
Moong sprouts – 3 tbsp
Almonds – 8-10
Makhana – 2 tbsp
Raisins – 1 tablespoon
Boiled peas – 2 tbsp
Onion small – 1
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Sugar- 1 tsp
Ghee – 1 tablespoon
Salt – as per taste
Method (Recipe)
– First of all, take the poha and clean it. After this, wash the poha with water at least twice and keep it in a sieve for some time so that the poha can become soft.
– After this, finely chop the onion and keep it aside in a bowl. Now put ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame.
– When the ghee is hot and melted, add makhanas and almonds one by one and fry them till they turn golden. After this, keep them aside in bowls.
– Now add some more ghee in the pan and heat it. After the ghee is heated, add cumin seeds and asafoetida and fry them. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add boiled peas and turmeric to it.
– After this, add moong sprouts to the spices and fry for 2 minutes. Now add soaked poha to it and mix it well with the spices using a ladle.
– After this, add sugar and mix. After cooking for about 2 minutes, add fried dry fruits and raisins to it.
