New Delhi: South Africa and Zimbabwe are face to face in Bulawayo. The first match of the two-match Test series is being played between the two teams. On the second day of this match Zimbabwes team has suffered a major setback. Strong all-rounder and team opener Brian Bennett has been ruled out of the first Test match. Brian Bennett will not be able to play further in the first Test due to a concussion (head injury). In such a situation Prince Masvaure has been included as a replacement in his place. Only one over had passed when Bennett left the field and then it was known that now he will not be able to play for the remaining three days. When did he leave the team? Bennetts exit from the first Test on the second day is a big setback for Zimbabwe as the 21-year-old opener recently played a brilliant innings of 139 runs in the first Test on the England tour. He scored more than 50 three times in his last three Test matches including a century. Talking about Bennetts replacement Prince Masvaure he last played a Test in Belfast against Ireland in July 2024. In that match he scored a half-century in the first innings.
