Rajasthan VDO Recruitment 2025: The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has begun the recruitment of Village Development Officers (VDO). As many as 850 posts in total are available in both the Scheduled and Non-Scheduled regions. The application process is currently ongoing and will be available until July 18, 2025.Eligibility CriteriaTo qualify for the VDO position, one should have a graduation degree from a recognised university. Along with a graduation degree, applicants are required to have a valid computer certification. The minimum certification that is accepted is:- An "O" Level certificate from DOEACC under the Government of India.- A COPA or DPCS course certificate from the National or State Council for Vocational Training.- A Diploma in Computer Applications or Computer Science from a recognized university.- VMOU, Kota conducted RSCIT certificate under the Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL).Application FeeThe fee for the application depends on the category of the candidate:- ₹600 for candidates belonging to General, OBC (Creamy Layer), and EBC (Creamy Layer) categories.- ₹400 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, SC, ST, and PwD applicants.The fee should be paid online while submitting the application form.Selection ProcessThe selection process will consist of three stages:- Preliminary Examination – A written test in objective type held in offline (OMR-based) mode.- Main Examination – Shortlisted candidates from the prelims will take the mains.- Verification of Documents – Final selection will be based on original document verification.In case the examination is conducted in more than one shift or session, normalization of marks shall be applied to maintain fairness.Exam ScheduleThe Preliminary Examination is scheduled on August 31, 2025 subject to change if and when required by the Board.
