A stained toilet not only causes embarrassment but also infections from the germs and the mould present in that area. Ideally, a toilet should be cleaned every two to three days, and this should include disinfecting the toilet seat, the exterior of the toilet, as well as all the other surfaces of the toilet.
Removal of stains, dirt, and mould and disinfecting the toilet seat is a necessity as these steps ensure a hygienic toilet, free of germs and bad odour. While mould is relatively simple to remove, stains can be a little harder to clean. However, experts at Bliss Cleaning Co. have shared the ultimate item to use.

Taking to their Facebook page, Bliss Cleaning Co shared a video of how to remove stains from toilet seats only using a certain type of sponge.
They captioned the video: "Toilet looking rough? Grab a Magic Eraser and watch those stains disappear. Quick. Easy. Satisfying."
The video captured a stained toilet seat being scrubbed with a Magic Eraser, causing the stains to instantly vanish.
For a badly stained toilet seat, it shouldn't take more than 30 seconds to get clean with this method.
Facebook user Fleur Hogan took to the comments to share her thoughts on this method. She wrote: "Thanks for this tip, really is a game changer."
So, what are Magic Erasers? They are essentially sponges that use melamine foam, which cleans stains effectively with just water.
They work like super-fine sandpaper because of their hard microstructure. The open-cell structure of melamine foam allows it to lift and trap dirt within its cavities, making it an efficient and chemical-free cleaning tool.
While powerful for removing stains, Magic Erasers wear out quickly, similar to pencil erasers, due to their abrasive nature and the mechanical action required during cleaning.
They're very easy to use, simply dampen slightly, and use small circular motions until the stain fades, then wash the surface clean to remove any residue.
