Ayan Khwaja wins Chhattisgarh by winning gold in 50 meter rifle prone event

Ayan Khwaja, a young shooter of Chhattisgarh, has won the gold medal by scoring the highest score at the 50m rifle prone event of All India Open National 2025 and has brought laurels to the state across the country. Ayan is a resident of Avinash Capital Homes in Saddu, Raipur and his father Afroz Khwaja is associated with the International Human Rights Protection Commission. This prestigious competition was held in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Ayan achieved this achievement under the guidance of Bhilai’s famous shooting coach Neeraj Nikhil Simon.

This is the third time in a row under the leadership of coach Neeraj Simon when his disciples have proud of Chhattisgarh by winning the gold medal in the All India Open National Shooting Competition. This historical performance has led to a wave of congratulations from the entire state including sports, school management, and state sports authority. This success of Ayan will become a source of inspiration for the upcoming young shooters.
