Bengaluru Police Issue Traffic Advisory Ahead Of Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025, Check Details

All eyes will be on Kanteerava Stadium this Saturday, July 5, as Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 Javelin Throw Competition kicks off, bringing together top-tier global talent in one of the most anticipated track and field events of the year. The competition is named after Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, who will also headline the event, alongside a host of international javelin stars.

The event is expected to draw a crowd of 15,000, including dignitaries, athletes, and sports enthusiasts from across the country, creating a festive atmosphere around Bengaluru’s historic sporting venue.

Traffic Advisory Issued

With such a large turnout anticipated, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued a detailed advisory to ensure smooth vehicular movement around the stadium, which falls under the Halasuru Gate Traffic Police Station limits.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), traffic officials urged attendees and commuters to use public transport and Metro services as restrictions and diversions will be in place in the surrounding areas.

  • Vittal Mallya Road
  • Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road (R.R.M.R Road)
  • Kempegowda Road (K.G. Road)
  • Devanga Road
  • Nrupathunga Road
  • Seshadri Road
  • Ambedkar Road (on both sides)

Designated Parking For Participants & Attendees:

  • St. Joseph's College Grounds (Only for vehicles with valid passes)
  • UB City Mall Parking (Pay and Park)
  • King's Way / King's Lane (Pay and Park)
