Jet2 has made a major change to its food options on all flights from July as it rolls out a brand new menu.
The budget airline has launched a new children's menu onboard from July 1 to provide a variety of tasty choices for little ones to enjoy. Youngsters can pick from a ham or cheese sandwich, Freddie's fruit bar raspberry, My Favourite Bear chocolate biscuits, or a six pack of Oreos. The goodies can be bought as a meal deal for £6 that includes a sandwich, one of the three snacks, a bottle of Harrogate still or sparkling spring water, or an apple or blackcurrant Fruit Shoot. The times can also be bought separately with the sandwiches priced at £3.20, the snacks at £1.90 and the drinks at £2.00.
Jet2 has also rolled out a brand new meal deal for adults from July 1, which includes a sandwich, toastie or wrap, a packet of crisps, and a drink or sweet treat for £10, or £12.50 if customers add an alcoholic drink.
The launch of the new children's menu comes after Jet2 unveiled its new Summer 25 menu that is now available onboard all of its flights.
This includes a selection of new additions, including an afternoon tea box containing scones with jam and cream, hot drinks from Costa Coffee and nine new soft drinks from Coca-Cola.
Jet2 teamed up with Costa Coffee back in May this year to offer passengers five coffee options onboard flights including Americano, Latte, Salted Caramel Latte, Cappuccino and Decaf Americano.
The addition of Costa Coffee and Coca-Cola onboard comes following customer research and feedback from Jet2 customers to bring more choice to passengers on flights.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "We are delighted to be teaming up with a range of new brands as we launch our brand-new In-Flight Menu for Summer 25, including the immensely popular Costa Coffee and Coca-Cola, and even adding scones with cream and jam!
"Offering even more choice to customers when travelling on our award-winning flights, we are sure that these new additions to our menu will please customers looking to enjoy a selection of tasty refreshments as they fly off on their well-deserved getaways.
"We pride ourselves on delivering a VIP customer service across every area, and this extends to the food and drink options we provide to customers on our flights.
"We are confident that the new menu will be a hit amongst holidaymakers, and we look forward to seeing our new additions take to the skies."
