Meerut: In a shocking revelation from Meerut’s Jani Khurd, police have uncovered a deeply disturbing murder conspiracy involving a woman, her daughter, and their respective lovers, who together orchestrated the killing of Subhash Upadhyay, husband and father, who had objected to his familie's affairs. The crime, committed on June 23, came to light following a meticulous investigation by local police, and surveillance teams.

Subhash, a farmer, was a vocal opponent of his wife’s and daughter’s affairs, was shot dead while returning from his fields. The murder was executed by his daughter’s lover, Vipin, with the help of his friend Ajgar alias Shivam. Investigators recovered the pistol and the bike used in the crime.

Subhash’s wife, Kavita, and their younger daughter, Sonam, are accused of masterminding the plot, viewing Subhash as a barrier to their freedom. Kavita was involved with Gulzar from Sisaula, while Sonam wanted to marry Vipin from Jawaharnagar. both relationships were fiercely opposed by Subhash.

According to police, after Subhash’s murder, Vipin called Sonam and Kavita to confirm the killing. Later, the group returned home as if nothing had happened. Surveillance revealed damning call records and WhatsApp chats before and after the incident.
