The classic Queen line-up dissolved in 1991 with the sad death of the band's inimitable frontman Freddie Mercury. Bassist John Deacon worked with the two other remaining members, Brian May and Roger Taylor, on a few times after that, finally quitting the music business altogether in 1997.
But Brian and Roger have worked hard to keep the Queen name alive. According to the legendary guitarist's wife, there could be a new project coming too. Asked by Best magazine whether the duo could release music soon as Queen, Anita Dobson replied: "Yes, I don't know when or how, but they will. They're musicians, they can't stop."
Anita is best known to EastEnders fans as the first landlady of the Queen Victoria pub, through three tumultuous years in the early 1980s. She married Brian in 2000, although they had been a couple since the late 1980s.

The movie, Bohemian Rhapsody, covers the Queen story from their formation in the early 1970s to their triumphant performance at Live Aid in 1985. And Anita also admits there's talk of a sequel to bring the band's story up-to-date.
The Queen drummer and guitarist, who have been working together since 1968, are constantly coming up with new ideas and a follow-up to Bohemian Rhapsody has definitely been discussed. Anita said: "There has been talk about it, but there has been talk about lots of things, so whether it will come to fruition or not, I don't know.
"But I do know one thing about the boys. They may not be touring at the moment as Queen, but they will be doing something. There is lots of talk going on and Brian pops round to see Roger a lot... so there's still life in the old dog yet."

The pair have made a couple of attempts to tour with a new singer - first with former Free and Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers in 2004.
Roger Taylor stressed at the time that Rodgers, with his earthy, bluesy style, was not intended as a direct replacement for Mercury. "We never thought we would tour again," he said. "Paul came along by chance and we seemed to have a chemistry. Paul is just such a great singer. He's not trying to be Freddie."
Somewhat closer to Freddie's flamboyant style was American Idol finalist Adam Lambert. After meeting the Indianapolis-born singer when they made a guest appearance on the contest in 2009, the core Queen members have undertaken a few tours together.

Brian and Roger hinted that there might be an album of new Queen material in the future, with Lambert taking on the unenviable task of stepping into Freddie's shoes.
New material need not be a problem. While Freddie wrote some of the band's best-known songs, Queen has the rare distinction of every member having individually composed a Top 10 single for the band at one point or another.
Whether a brand-new Queen album, or any of the other projects the two veteran rockers are discussing will ever see the light of day is open to question. Roger told Ultimate Classic Rock magazine: "You never know..."
