A Netflix series from the same creator as Bosch, hailed as 'so underrated' and praised for its 'unbelievable' plot twists, has left fans eagerly anticipating its new season.
Viewers are puzzled as to why The Lincoln Lawyer isn't generating more buzz among the streaming platform's subscribers.
The legal drama wrapped up its third season at the close of 2024, with a fourth season expected later this year following the completion of filming.
One Netflix enthusiast took to the streamer's dedicated subreddit to share their thoughts.
They said: "The Lincoln Lawyer is sooooooo underrated! I don't know why people don't talk about this show, it's so good."

They continued: "Like each season has it's own crazy story and plotline. Like I can't believe the plot twists this show has. I want more people to talk about this show and I cant wait for season four, it's such a long wait."
Some fans pointed out that the original poster might have been late to the party themselves, given that the show has released a new season annually since its 2022 debut. However, many others concur that it's an underrated gem deserving of a wider audience.
The series is actually based on a collection of novels penned by Michael Connelly. A film adaptation of the first book was produced in 2011, featuring Matthew McConaughey in the lead role, reports Surrey Live.
The series has since adapted additional books from the series.
Connelly is the literary genius behind the novels inspiring Amazon Prime series Bosch. Intriguingly, in Connelly's written world, The Lincoln Lawyer and Bosch lead characters are half-siblings.
Sadly, due to production by differing networks, there'll be no intertwining of the two shows anytime soon.

Over on The Lincoln Lawyer, we dive into the life of Mickey Haller, a defense attorney from Los Angeles who makes his office in the back of a chauffeur-driven Lincoln Navigator. In a thrilling twist for the upcoming season, Haller will face his gravest challenge yet-defending himself against a murder charge.
Critics and audiences alike are raving about the show's gripping narrative, earning it a stellar 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with its latest offering achieving an outstanding 100%. One critic raved: "The Lincoln Lawyer is as addictive as a courtroom drama can get."
Echoing this enthusiasm, one viewer exclaimed: "Excellent script, great performances, and excellent explanations of how a trial works. Every scene in the series is precise and necessary, the script is completely engaging, and the plot twists are excellent and make sense. I recommend it to anyone looking to watch a good series."
Another keen fan shared: "Loved this, binged watched each season back to back, couldn't get enough it was so good, looking forward to season 4."
Another viewer chimed in: "One of best if you want a quality thing to watch. This series is a masterpiece in its own way. Netflix will be doing the worst mistake if they are not going to make more seasons, actually this kind of series should not stop."
Meanwhile, an enthusiastic fan proclaimed: "The Lincoln Lawyer series is a masterclass in legal drama! The blend of courtroom battles and personal dilemmas keeps you on the edge of your seat. The writing is sharp, the characters are well-developed, and the twists are thrilling. This is one of the best legal dramas out there, and I can't wait to see what happens next!"
The Lincoln Lawyer is streaming on Netflix.
