The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for receiving Brazil's highest civilian award, calling it a moment of pride for the entire nation.


In a post on 'X', he stated, 'Congratulations to Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being awarded Brazil's highest national honor, the Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross.'


He emphasized that this esteemed recognition reflects Modi's visionary leadership and his dedicated efforts to strengthen India-Brazil relations through trust, cooperation, and shared global objectives.


Describing the award as 'a moment of pride for all Indians,' the Chief Minister noted that it symbolizes India's rising stature on the global stage.


On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi was honored with Brazil's Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross.


Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva presented this award to Modi for his significant contributions to enhancing bilateral relations and fostering India-Brazil cooperation on major global platforms.


This marks the 26th international honor awarded to Modi by a foreign government since he took office as Prime Minister in May 2014.
