

Tata Auto-Camp & Skoda
Skoda Group, a Tata Auto-Complex Systems and a large company making public transport of Europe, have signed a new partnership agreement. Under this partnership, the two companies will jointly make the propulsion (engine related) technology and parts used in the railway in India. Crores of euros will be invested in this.
This partnership has been especially made keeping in mind the rapidly growing railway and mobility sector of India. The Tata Auto-Camp already specializes in making parts of electric vehicles and is now taking steps in the railway sector as well.
What will be made in this joint venture?
The new company will create drives, converters and other essential electric parts for high-speed train and light trains from the new company, media. All manufacturing will be in India and this investment will benefit the country in both economic and technical matters.
Attempt to give cheap and durable transport
This new partnership will support the mission of India's smart and sustainable transport. The Tata Auto-Camp says that he is trying to bring better and sustainable technology at a low price, especially keeping in mind the railway sector of India. Arvind Goyal, Vice Chairman of Tata Auto-Camp, said, "This partnership with our Skoda will further strengthen our work in Indian Railways and Metro."
Skoda Group CEO Peter Novotni said, "With Tata we are bringing our confirmed technology and successful solutions in Europe."
Tata Auto-Camp and Catcon partnership
The Tata Auto-Comp has also done a new joint venture with Mexico company Catcon Global in May, with light weight automobile parts (such as cars, tractors, and off-road vehicles). This partnership is for the North America market. Catcon specializes in creating thermal insulation, exhaust systems and advanced material for the auto industry. Both companies have been working together for the last 10 years.
Tata Auto-Complete hold in Jaguar's supply chain
In March this year, the Tata Auto-Camp bought an 80% stake in Artifax Interior Systems Limited, a company in Jaguar-Land Rover Group. After this deal, Artifax, whose FY25's estimated revenue is 296 million pounds, has now become part of the Tata Auto-Comp. This has strengthened the company's presence in Europe and the hold in the supply network of Jaguar-Land Rover.
