Giant IMM supermarket in Singapore will host an all-you-can-eat durian buffet from July 19–20, with prices starting from S$55 (US$42) per person.
There are two buffet tiers: standard and premium. The standard buffet offers unlimited servings of varieties such as Black Pearl and Red Prawn, while the premium buffet includes top-tier durians like Mao Shan Wang and Black Gold, the supermarket announced on its Facebook page.
Early registration by July 13 offers discounted prices: S$55 for the standard buffet and S$75 for the premium tier.
Each buffet session includes one hour of unlimited durian, complimentary fresh coconut and tropical fruits, and a shopping voucher.
Durian is mainly grown in tropical countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Known for its large size, spiky rind, and strong aroma, the fruit is a seasonal favorite across the region.
To celebrate the durian harvest season, both Malaysia and Singapore have launched all-you-can-eat durian events to attract tourists.
