IBPS PO 2025 New Exam Pattern: There are vacancies for 5208 posts of Probationary Officer (CRP PO/MT-XV) in 11 nationalized banks of the country. The last date to apply for this is 21st July. According to the recruitment advertisement issued by IBPS, PO/Management Trainee will be recruited in Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank and Punjab & Sind Bank. Its prelims exam will be conducted on 17th, 23rd, and 24th August. The main exam will be held in November 2025. IBPS has amended the pattern of the prelims and mains exams for the PO Recruitment 2025. This time, the marks in the Quantitative Aptitude section have been reduced to 30. Earlier, it was 35 marks. Whereas the marks of Reasoning Ability have been increased to 40. Overall, the number of questions is the same, but their weightage has changed.

New changes in IBPS PO Mains Exam

In the Mains exam of the IBPS PO recruitment exam, the number of questions in the Reasoning and Computer Aptitude section has been reduced to 40. Earlier, there were 45 questions. Along with this, the time has also been reduced to 50 minutes. Now there will be only 35 questions of 50 marks in the General/Economy/Banking Awareness section. Also, the time has been reduced to 25 minutes. Whereas, the marks for data analysis and interpretation have been reduced from 60 to 50. Overall, there will be 145 objective questions in the mains exam. Earlier, there were 155 questions. The exam will now be 160 minutes. Earlier it used to be of 180 minutes.
