Benjamin Sesko has emerged as a summer transfer target for Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal - it has been claimed. RB Leipzig forward Sesko is near the top of Arsenal's short-list for a new No.9, but a move for Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres is advancing and he ultimately appears to be their first-choice option.
Leipzig want around £77m for Sesko and Arsenal have been unwilling to do business for that amount. Therefore Gyokeres has been prioritised and the Sweden international is desperate to get a deal done.
Despite this, and Arsenal's desire to sign Gyokeres, Sesko could still leave Leipzig this summer. This is because Al-Hilal have turned their attention to the Slovenian and are prepared to meet Leipzig's demands for him.

Al-Hilal, who saw two offers to sign Napoli's Victor Osimhen rejected last month, are lining up a chase for Sesko, according to The Sun. Also on their striker shopping list is Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Marcos Leonardo, 22, impressed for Al-Hilal at the Club World Cup, scoring four goals and providing one assist in five matches, but he's not expected to be the long-term solution up front.
While Al-Hilal want Sesko, it's unknown whether the former RB Salzburg man is open to joining them. Al-Hilal won the Saudi Pro League in 2023/24 but finished second behind Al-Ittihad last season.
Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Renan Lodi, Matheus Pereira and Joao Cancelo are all among the former Premier League stars that have been signed by Al-Hilal over recent years.
Although Neymar arrived and failed to impress following a £77.5m switch from Paris Saint-Germain in 2023, Sesko could become Al-Hilal's most eye-opening addition given the competition for his signature.
Speaking about his future in May, Sesko hinted that he might leave Leipzig this summer: "The club has given me a lot and continues to give me a lot every day. It's a great club to develop at. I'm currently a player for RB Leipzig, so I'm taking it day-by-day. If a transfer happens, and if it doesn't, then it doesn't."
Sesko, who has four years left on his contract at Leipzig, scored 21 times and added six assists in 45 outings last season. But with Leipzig failing to secure European football for the first time since 2017, several players, including Sesko, are now tempted to leave the club ahead of the new campaign.
