
Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu on Saturday addressed the media regarding the preliminary investigation report issued by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on the recent Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. He praised the AAIB for its swift and professional response, particularly the successful recovery and decoding of the aircraft’s black box—an important milestone in the investigation process.
Appreciate Job Done By AAIB: Union Minister On Air India Crash
He said: “I would like to appreciate the job done by AAIB. For the first time, the black box was safely recovered, and decoding the data was done… This is a preliminary report. We are analysing it from the ministry. It would be better if we comment on it when the final report comes in. We are coordinating with AAIB also, and we will help with all the resources they need.”

Highlighting India’s aviation strengths, Kinjarapu lauded the country's aviation personnel: "I truly believe we have the most wonderful workforce in terms of pilots and the crew in the whole world have to Pilots and crew are the backbone of the aviation industry. "
