Performing at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground is always a special achievement for any cricketer. But getting your name etched on the Lord’s Honours Board is considered one of the greatest milestones in a player’s career.

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah earned this rare honor during the ongoing third Test against England by picking up a brilliant five-wicket haul. With this feat, Bumrah’s name will now be permanently inscribed on the prestigious board.

27 Indians Now Feature on Honours Board

Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets for 74 runs in England’s first innings, registering the 15th five-wicket haul of his Test career. However, this one holds extra significance — not just for the figures, but because it earns him a place on Lord’s Honours Board.

With this performance, Bumrah becomes the 27th Indian cricketer to have his name added to the board. Among them are 12 Indian batters who scored centuries at Lord’s and 15 Indian bowlers who claimed five-wicket hauls or more.
