That is why his family members and villagers expeled him from the house, after which he started devotion to the Lord on the banks of Ganga Maiya.
When Tulsidas was composing Ramcharit Manas, a boy was married in his village. The day he came to his house with his bride, he died due to some reason. In the morning, everyone started to take his meaning to the crematorium, then the newlyweds also started following the bier with the desire to be Sati.
People were going through the same path in which Tulsidas ji's hut used to fall. When the newlyweds looked at Tulsidas ji, the bride thought that I am going to be sati with her husband, for the last time I bow to these Brahmin deity.
The widow did not know that she is Tulsidas ji. When he bowed down by touching his feet, he blessed him and called him 'Akhand Saubhagyavati Bhava'. Hearing this, the people involved in the funeral procession filled in anger and said, "The husband of this girl is dead. How can this unbroken good fortune be? ''
After this, everyone started speaking in one voice, "You are a liar." Tulsidas ji said, "We can be false but our Ram can never be false."
Everyone started speaking loudly, "Give proof of this." Tulsidas ji kept the bier down and went to the dead young man and said in his ear, "Ram's name is true." The young man started shaking. For the second time, Tulsidas ji said in his ear again, "Ram's name is true." There was some consciousness in the young man's body. When Tulsidas ji said 'Ram Naam Satya' in his ear for the third time, he got up from the bier.
Everyone was very surprised how someone could survive. All started apologizing at the feet of Tulsidas ji. Goswami Tulsidas ji started saying, if you did not go through this path, then how would my name of Rama get to be true. This is the leela of that Rama. Ram's name greater than Rama. This tradition started from the same day - Shri Ram's name is true.
