As anticipation builds for one of the year's most talked-about comedies, Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s film Param Sundari has locked in a new release window. The movie, produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, is now set to hit theatres worldwide in August this year.
The film was originally scheduled to premiere on July 25 but has been postponed, as per a press release issued by the production house. While the exact release date remains under wraps, fans can expect the film to hit the big screen sometime next month.
Param Sundari is described as a “rollercoaster of laughter, chaos, and unexpected twists,” all set against the scenic backdrop of Kerala’s lush backwaters. Directed by Tushar Jalota, best known for Dasvi, the film stars Sidharth as Param and Janhvi as Sundari.

With Jalota’s knack for balancing social themes and humour, and a vibrant setting that adds visual richness to the plot, the film aims to deliver more than just a feel-good ride.
Param Sundari marks the first onscreen collaboration between Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor.
While fans are gearing up for Param Sundari, Janhvi Kapoor is also prepping for her role opposite Varun Dhawan in the upcoming romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is produced by Dharma Productions and Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Entertainment.
Sidharth Malhotra, meanwhile, is shooting for VVAN – Force of the Forest, a folk-thriller helmed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar. The film, co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, will arrive in theatres on May 15, 2026. It's being produced by Balaji Telefilms in collaboration with The Viral Fever.
