The State Bank of India (SBI) will close the application window for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) under the SBI PO Recruitment 2025 on Monday, July 14.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 541 vacancies across various SBI branches in India.
Eligible and interested candidates who wish to join the banking sector as a PO must complete the online registration process by tomorrow through the official website at sbi.co.in.
The application process includes registration, submission of documents, fee payment, and final submission of the form.
SBI PO 2025: Important dates and application deadline
The application window commenced on June 24. Candidates must complete the application and fee payment before the deadline on July 14, 2025. Those who have registered successfully can download and print their application forms until July 29, 2025, which will be required during the document verification stage.
The Preliminary Examination is scheduled in July or August 2025. Candidates who qualify the prelims will proceed to the next stages of selection including the Main Examination, a psychometric test, and a personal interview.
SBI PO 2025: Application fee details
Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWBD categories are exempted from the application fee. All other candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 750, which must be paid online through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

3. Find the SBI PO 2025 link – Locate the ‘SBI PO Recruitment 2025’ notification and click on the ‘Apply Online’ option.
4. Register and fill the form – Create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number to generate login credentials. Log in and complete the application form with accurate details.
5. Upload documents and pay the fee – Upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format. Pay the application fee as applicable and submit the form.

Selection process and exam pattern
The selection process has four stages, including Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, psychometric test, and interview. The Preliminary Exam is an objective test designed to assess candidates’ aptitude and reasoning ability. Those who pass the prelims will be shortlisted for the Main Exam, followed by a psychometric evaluation and an interview round to determine the candidate’s overall suitability for the role.
