What scientific experiments were done in space?

Shubhanshu Shukla used microalgy in space. Microelgy (micro algae) can become a source of food, oxygen and biofuel for future space trips. What will happen after splashadown?

According to ISRO, Shubhanshu Shukla after Splashdown will have to undergo a 7 -day rehabilitation program under the supervision of a flight surgeon to be adapted to the Earth’s gravity. Shukla and three other astronauts are expected to conduct the necessary tests before riding in the spacecraft at 2.25 pm, wearing their space suit and starting the Earth’s journey.

How much did ISRO spend for Shukla’s ISS visit?

According to a report by news agency PTI, ISRO paid around Rs 550 crore for Shukla’s ISS visit. Shubhanshu Shukla’s experience is expected to help the space agency plan and implement its human space flight program Gaganyaan in 2027.
