In Delhi, where the first cylinder was ₹ 925, now he will be available in ₹ 899. Mumbai has come down from ₹ 955 to ₹ 899. In the rest of the cities, prices have been given relief from ₹ 26 to ₹ 61.
How will you get full benefit of subsidy?
To get subsidy on LPG, you need to be registered under the DBTL scheme. For this, it is necessary to link your bank account and Aadhaar card to your gas connection.
Many times people forget to register for gas subsidy, so that subsidy does not reach their account on time. If you have not yet registered, contact your distributor or update on the online portal.
Keep these things in mind while booking
Booking of gas cylinders has now become much easier than before. You can book cylinders from mobile apps, SMS, IVRS or direct distributor as per your convenience.
While taking delivery after booking, make sure that the weight of the cylinder is correct, the seal is fine and there is no leakage. Also, take delivery receipts so that there is no problem in future.
What is the government’s preparation for changing prices?
The government says that LPG prices are fixed according to the price of crude oil and currency exchange rate in the international market. Prices are changed from time to time to control rising inflation and give relief to the common people.
