RVUNL Vacancy: There is big news for students preparing for government jobs in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) has issued a notification for the combined recruitment of 2,005 posts—Junior Engineer, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant-Commercial Assistant-II—across the state’s five electricity companies. The online application process for this recruitment will begin on August 5, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply via the official website until August 25, 2026.

Which posts are being filled?

A total of 2,005 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. The highest number of posts is for Junior Assistant-Commercial Assistant-II, with 765 vacancies. Additionally, the recruitment includes 727 posts for Junior Engineer-I (Electrical), 110 for Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical), 32 for Junior Engineer-I (Civil), and 371 for Junior Accountant.

Which electricity companies will offer appointments?

This recruitment is being conducted for five electricity companies in Rajasthan. These include Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited, Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (Jaipur), and the Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited entities for Ajmer, Jaipur, and Jodhpur.

Important application dates and eligibility

Online applications for these posts begin today, August 5. The deadline for applying and submitting the fee is set for August 25, 2026. The exam date will be announced later, while admit cards will be issued prior to the examination. A B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant branch is mandatory for the Junior Engineer post. For the Junior Accountant post, a B.Com or equivalent degree from a recognized university is required. For the posts of Junior Assistant and Commercial Assistant-II, candidates must have passed the 12th-grade (or equivalent) examination and possess a recognized computer qualification certificate.

Age Limit and Application Fee

The minimum age for recruitment is set at 21 years, and the maximum at 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation in accordance with Rajasthan government rules. The application fee for General category candidates is ₹1,000. Meanwhile, candidates from SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, and differently-abled categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500. Payment can only be made online.

What is the Salary?

Selected Junior Engineers and Junior Accountants will receive a minimum basic salary of ₹33,800 under Pay Matrix Level-10. During the probation period, a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹27,700 will be provided. Junior Assistants and Commercial Assistants-II will receive a basic salary of ₹20,800 under Level-5, with a monthly remuneration of ₹14,600 during the probation period.
