A notification has been issued by the Central Constable Selection Board (CSBC), Bihar, for the recruitment of Driver Constable. According to this notification, constables will be recruited in various districts, units of Bihar Police, and Bihar Special Armed Police Corps. The application process will start on July 21. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website https://indianarmy.nic.in/. A total of 4361 candidates will be selected through this. The last date is August 20.

To apply for this post, candidates should have passed class 10th and 12th from a recognized board in India. Also, there should be a minimum of one year of experience driving light or heavy motor vehicles. Minimum height should be 165 cm, chest should be 81 cm without inflating and 86 cm after inflating the chest. Age will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in the 10th class or its equivalent certificate. Minimum age has been fixed at 20 years. The maximum age of general category candidates is 25, OBC 27, OBC women 28, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe 30 years.

SC/ST and all women candidates will have to pay Rs 180 as application fees. For all other categories, this amount has been fixed at Rs 675. The fee can be paid only in online mode.

First of all, there is a written test, which will be qualifying only. After this, there will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and after that, Motor Vehicle Driving Efficiency (Driving Test) will be conducted. In the final stage of selection, verification of documents and a medical test will also be done. Merit will be made mainly on the basis of driving test marks and special contract experience. Selected candidates will be provided with a range of Rs 21700 to Rs 69100 per month.
