
FC Nantes are set to make a surprise but experienced addition to their attack with the imminent arrival of Youssef El-Arabi (38), who is currently undergoing a medical ahead of signing a two-year deal.
According to a report from Market footballthe former Caen and Olympiacos striker is close to sealing his return to French football more than a decade after leaving Ligue 1. El-Arabi most recently played for APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus, where he impressed last season with 14 goals and 7 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
The Moroccan international began his professional career in France with Caen before leaving for Al-Hilal in 2011. He later enjoyed a prolific spell in Spain with Granada and became a club legend at Olympiacos in Greece, where he won three league titles and scored over 60 league goals. This included winning the UEFA Conference league in the 2023-2024 season.
