Who is Sanjay Pagar?
According to the police, Sanjay Ranganath Pagar is a resident of Vaijapur taluka in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. He was cheating people in villages by becoming 'Tantric Baba' for the last few years. After the incident, he escaped with some of his close followers.
Deepest trap of superstition
The incident highlights the serious problem of superstition and religious fraud in Maharashtra. According to Ans, such self -proclaimed Baba takes advantage of the illiteracy and fear of people in rural areas. The committee has exposed more than 200 such cases in the last five years. Experts say that education, awareness, and strict legal action can end this evil.
The police is intensifying raids in search of wages. The locals are now coming out of the shadow of fear and giving more information to the police. The ANS has appealed to the people not to get into the trap of such tantrikas and inform them of suspicious activities immediately. Will the salary be caught, and will this matter further strengthen the war against superstition? This time will tell.
