Hong Kong actor Louis Fan revealed that he ate seven durians over the course of three days while visiting Malaysia, with one day seeing him devour as many as four.

According to The Starthe TVB star traveled to Genting Highlands in Malaysia to support his wife, Chinese singer-actress JJ Jia, who held a concert there on July 19. Fan later took to Xiaohongshu to share highlights from the trip, including his indulgence in Malaysia’s famed Musang King durians.
“Finally experienced the joy of durian freedom,” he wrote. “I ate four durians a day and had seven in just three days. Freshly picked Musang King from the tree is too delicious.”
His post included several snapshots of himself enjoying the fruit, along with a tourist photo in front of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.
Fan joins a growing list of Hong Kong celebrities who have tried durians in Malaysia and fallen in love with the fruit, including actress Kelly Fu.
Fan is best known internationally for his role as Ricky in the cult martial arts film “Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky” and as Jin Shanzhao in the “Ip Man” series. He has also starred in numerous TVB dramas throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
