Farah Khan has joined the debate of Bollywood actors having 8-hour shifts in the industry. The discussion began when Deepika Padukone allegedly exited Sandeep Reddy Vanga 's 'Spirit' due to issues with her pay and long working hours. Since the controversy hit the headlines, several actors, filmmakers, and producers shared their thoughts and opinions on the subject. Now, it seems filmmaker Farah Khan has also joined the bandwagon.

Did Farah Khan take a dig at Deepika Padukone?
In her vlog on YouTube, director Farah paid a visit to Radhikka Madan 's house. During their candid conversation about the actress' first audition for 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi,' the discussion moved to the work hours in the film industry. When the filmmaker asked Radhikka's opinion on 8-hour shifts, she said, "56 hours non-stop or 48 hours non-stop."

Although she didn't specifically mention the debate or Deepika, it is being implied on various news outlets that the director snubbed the discussion with her comment, "Aise tapke hi toh sona banta hai (Gold is created only after it is heated)."

Why did Deepika Padukone leave Sandeep Reddy Vanga's project?
Deepika was reportedly on board for Vanga's movie starring Prabhas. The film would have marked her reunion with the actor after 'Kalki 2898 AD.' Reportedly, the actress agreed to play the part, as she loved how the character was written; however, within a few days, news of her exit surfaced on the internet, with the director confirming the same and announcing Triptii Dimri as his leading lady.

Deepika Padukone’s upcoming project
Deepika has several films in the pipeline. The actress will feature in Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan 's starrer 'King'. This film will mark Suhana’s debut on the big screen. The movie is slated to hit theatres next year.

Apart from this, she will also star in Atlee’s 'AA22 X A6' alongside Allu Arjun . The film is yet to go on floors.
