Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has a new ride for the upcoming Assembly election campaign: a custom-built 'Nischay Rath', designed to double as a mobile stage and war room on wheels. The vehicle, imported from Haryana, is now stationed in Patna and ready for action.
The fully equipped vehicle will be Nitish's mainstay for roadshows and public outreach across Bihar's constituencies. He officially launched it on Saturday during a stop in Madhubani, boarding it for the first time.
Built with the CM's comfort and privacy in mind, the rath features four adjustable, cushioned seats tailored for long journeys. It also includes tinted windows and privacy curtains to shield him from the outside world during transit.
A key highlight is its hydraulic lift system. Nitish will ascend to the rooftop through this mechanism, allowing him to address crowds from a raised, railing-secured platform. The rooftop is also fitted with floodlights for night-time events.
According to JDU leaders, the 'Rath' will be used exclusively by the Chief Minister during roadshows and is set to travel across various Assembly segments. In short, it's not just a vehicle — it's the campaign headquarters on wheels, built to project power, ensure safety, and carry the CM directly to the people.
