This is the whole controversy

Maulana described it as’ nakedness’ and said that ‘such dress in our society is not considered as per dignity. The mosque is a culinary place and Sharifana veneer is necessary there.

Maulana gave this clarification

After the controversy over his statement, Maulana clarified that he had not insulted anyone. He says that the word ‘naked’ is used in common colloquial and it has been deliberately introduced. He also said that he is getting threatening calls and his statement is being tossed with political purpose.
