New Delhi: One intention of Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, has been fulfilled, but to fulfill the second, many conditions (TERMS) have to be followed. The government has not even stepped into India’s Internet Service provider, Starlink has not even stepped into India that the government has started cutting the company. Giving this information, the Union Minister of Telecommunications said that the limit of the connection of the storlink and the speed limit of its internet has also been fixed.

Minister of State for Telecommunications Pemmasani Chandrashekhar said on Monday that Starlink, the satellite communication service provider of industrialist Alan Musk, can provide only 2 million connections in India. In such a situation, there is no risk to other telecom companies including public sector BSNL. On the occasion of BSNL’s review meeting here, he said that Starlinks can have only 2 million customers in India and it can provide speed of up to 200 Mbps. This will not affect telecom services.

The Union Minister said that the goal of satellite telecom services will be set up in rural and remote areas, where BSNL has a good presence. He said that the initial cost of SATCOM services will be very high and the monthly cost can be around Rs 3,000. The minister said that the work of starting BSNL 4G service has been completed and there is no plan to increase the fee rate right now. We want market first. There is no plan to increase the fee rate.

Maximum speed of internet in India has reached 1 GBPS. Act Fibernet, Jio Finner and Airtel provide speed up to 1 GBPS in many cities. BSNL 5 also provides speeds from 300 to 1000 Mbps in many cities. This is the reason that the government does not want to let the storlinks exceed the maximum of 200 Mbps for the safety of these domestic companies.

Alan Mask’s Starlink is expected to have speed ranging from 250 Mbps to 500 Mbps in India. But, now the government wants to limit it to 200 Mbps. Starlink keeps internet speed up to 3,000 Mbps for total cruise. However, this is not for general users and is made available only on cruise etc.
