Three big festivals are coming in the month of August. Due to these festivals, schools will remain closed for many days. There are two festivals which are falling on Saturday. In such a situation, children will have holidays for two consecutive days and parents can plan a short trip with the children. Schools will remain closed for at least eight days in August. When will schools remain closed in August

Sunday- 3,10,17,24,31

Saturday- 2,9,16,23,30 (Rules regarding Saturday are different in different parts of the country. In many places, schools remain closed on Saturday. In some places, schools remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays. At many places, Saturday is also a half day. In such a situation, many schools may remain closed on these days as well.)

Festivals- 9 August (Rakshabandhan), 15 August (Independence Day), 16 August (Janmashtami), Ganesh Chaturthi (27 August)

Schools will remain closed on three festivals

The first festival of August is on 9 August (Saturday). All schools will remain closed on this day. At the same time, 10 August is Sunday. Schools will remain closed on both days. After this, there will be a holiday on Independence Day on 15 August and Janmashtami on 16 August. 17 August is Sunday. Due to continuous holidays for three days, parents can go on short trips with their children. After this, schools will also be closed on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on 27 August.

Schools can also be closed due to weather

Due to heavy rains in different parts of the country, normal life has been disrupted. Heavy rains are expected in different areas in the coming days during the rainy season. In case of heavy rains, the district collector can also declare holidays for schools. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in many states of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and North East in the coming days.
