Oil marketing companies have given relief in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 33.50. The new rates will come into effect from August 1. After this reduction, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 1,631.50. This relief will prove beneficial for hotels, restaurants, and small shopkeepers, as they use these cylinders in everyday work. However, there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinders used in homes.
Companies say that the prices of commercial cylinders are decided based on the fluctuations in gas prices and taxes in the international market. With the prices of domestic cylinders remaining stable for the time being, common consumers will remain relieved, while this reduction has brought some relief to hotels and catering businesses.
Earlier, on July 1, 2025, the price of commercial LPG was reduced by Rs 58.5. Then the price of commercial LPG in Delhi had become Rs 1665. This is the 5th consecutive month when the price of gas has been reduced. Before July, the price of commercial LPG was reduced by Rs 24 in June, Rs 14.50 in May, and Rs 41 in April.
