UPESSC has clarified the dates of all three exams. PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) exam will be held on 15 and 16 October 2025. After this, the TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) exam will be conducted on 18 and 19 December 2025. At the same time, the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) exam will be held on 29 and 30 January 2026. These dates are now considered final and candidates should start preparing accordingly.

There will be a written exam for TGT and PGT, in which 125 questions will be asked. Each question will be of 4 marks. This exam will be of a total of 500 marks, in which there will be no negative marking. It is also important to read the syllabus thoroughly for TET, because it determines the basic level of ability.
How will these exams be conducted?
These exams will be conducted by UPESSC Prayagraj. The exam can be conducted both online and offline, but it has not been officially confirmed yet. It is expected that the admit cards will be uploaded on the website 10-15 days before the exam. For this, candidates will have to use the registration number and date of birth.
