
EPFO News: The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) provides a financial security cover to private and public sector employees by managing their provident fund (PF) which can be withdrawn in case of exigencies like medical emergencies or leaving ones job. The provident fund (PF) account works similar to a savings account but withdrawing your money from PF can be a cumbersome process in some cases. However the government has eased this process in recent year making it possible to withdraw money from your PF account within just 72 hours or 3 days. How to apply for PF withdrawal? Follow these easy steps to apply for PF withdrawal: Visit the official EPFO portal at https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in Click on sign in an login with your UAN number and password Click Online Services and select Claim Form-31 19 10C & 10D from the menu Verify your bank account and Aadhaar details to complete your KYC This will link your bank account to your UAN Choose reason for claim in the form Fill the required details and submit the claim after OTP verification After the claim is successfully submitted the money from your PF account will be transferred to your linked bank account with a maximum period of three days or 72 hours. What details need to be submitted in PF claim form? To withdraw your PF you need to fill in the correct details in the claim form such as UAN number Aadhaar number as well as bank details to complete the KYC and link your bank account to your PF account.
