Salman Iftikhar, husband of Pakistani model Abeer Iftikhar, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison in the United Kingdom. The sentence was handed down after a disturbing incident took place aboard a Virgin Atlantic flight from Heathrow to Lahore.

According to court reports, Salman was under the influence of alcohol during the flight. He was travelling with his first wife, Erum Salman, and their three children. During the journey, he verbally abused a female flight attendant. Witnesses said he used offensive and threatening language. He reportedly threatened to gang-rape the woman and said he would set her on fire.

The incident left the flight attendant deeply traumatized. The UK court took the matter seriously. It described Salman’s behaviour as dangerous, aggressive, and completely unacceptable. As a result, he was sentenced to 15 months in prison.

The case has caught public attention in Pakistan because of Salman’s marriage to Abeer Iftikhar. Abeer is a well-known model who began her career at a young age. She has worked with top fashion designers and appeared in magazine shoots and on major fashion ramps across Pakistan.

Five years ago, Abeer married Salman in a private ceremony. Since then, she has stepped away from the fashion industry. The couple have reportedly lived happily since their marriage. However, Salman continues to live with his first wife and children in the UK, in a £2 million mansion.

This is Abeer’s second marriage. She has two sons from her previous relationship. Sources close to the family say that her children have a good relationship with Salman. They are often seen spending time together.

The recent developments have created a media stir, especially in fashion and social circles. However, Abeer has not issued any public statement about her husband’s sentencing.

The incident has also raised serious concerns about passenger safety and behaviour on flights. UK authorities have reiterated their zero-tolerance policy towards any kind of abuse or violence against airline staff.

The flight attendant is said to be receiving psychological support. The airline has expressed full support for its crew and welcomed the court’s decision.
