What is E-Aahaar App?

According to the report of Financial Express, the app is currently named E-Aadhaar and is working fast. It is being designed in such a way that all updated services to Aadhaar can be available from the same digital interface. This app will be user-friendly and will make the update process extremely simple.

AI and face id use of technology

UIDAI aims that users have to go to the Aadhaar Enrollment Center only for biometric verification (fingerprint or iris scan). The remaining updates will be able to be from home. For this, AI and face ID technology will be added to the app, so that safe digital Aadhaar services can be provided throughout India.

Preparation for automatic data collection

UIDAI plans that the data of users from verified government sources should be taken automatically. This will include information like birth certificate, PAN card, driving license, passport, ration card, MNREGA scheme record and electricity bill. This will make the verification of address and other details easier.

Good Governance Portal

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) has launched Good Governance Portal to make the approval to Aadhaar verification easier. It aims to process Aadhaar - requests with speed and transparency.
