
Opposition in Bihar (SIR) of voter list (SIR) and Rahul Gandhi’s alleged vote theft allegations, MPs of the opposition Indi (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) alliance on Monday (August 11) took out a march from Parliament House to Election Commission headquarters on Monday (August 11). In this mega march, the Lok Sabha has been attended by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, Trinamool Congress, DMK and senior leaders of other parties, with whom all opposition MPs are involved in this mega march.
During the March, MPs wear white hats on their heads, on which ‘Sir’ and ‘Vote Theft’ are written, as well as a red cross mark. On being stopped by the Delhi Police, Akhilesh Yadav tried to move forward by closing the barricade, which was failed by the police. Whereas Priyanka Gandhi was seen applauding the work of enthusiasm among opposition MPs. Many MPs continued the march by breaking the security cordon of the police. While Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav sat down. Acting on which, senior leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra Dimple Yadav, Supriya Sule were also detained.
NSG, SPG and Special Security Teams were deployed along with Delhi Police and paramilitary forces. Around 7,500 personnel, 800 high-definement CCTV cameras, anti-drain systems, snipers on roofs and medical and fire service teams were also present under the security system. The police appealed to the public to avoid rumors and report any suspicious activity.
In March, around 300 MPs from 25 parties of ‘India’ block attended. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said, “This is the loot of votes. Officers were deployed on the basis of caste and religion. The Election Commission has been questioned many times and SP’s votes were looted.” Prior to March, a senior Delhi Police official said that no one had sought permission for this demonstration, due to which unprecedented arrangements for security and monitoring were made.
