New Delhi. In the country these days, political mercury has been offered in the country over allegations of vote theft by Election Commission. Today, opposition MPs are taking out march from Makar Gate of Parliament to the Election Commission office. Meanwhile, several opposition MPs including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav have been taken into custody by the police. The police did not allow MPs to go to Election Commission. Despite this, the opposition MPs were taking out march, after which the police have taken action.

‘This is a fight to save the Constitution, this fight is a person, one vote’
Rahul Gandhi said that the reality is that he cannot speak. The truth is in front of the country. This fight is not political. This is a fight to save the constitution. This fight is of one person, one vote. We want a clean voter list. At the same time, Priyanka Gandhi said that ‘these people are scared. The government is a coward.
At the same time, Para Military Force personnel have been deployed outside the Election Commission with Delhi Police. March was stopped by barricading. Many MPs climbed on the barricade and jumped. Akhilesh Yadav jumped from the barricade. TMC MPs Sagarika Ghosh and Mahua Moitra climbed on barricades. Later Akhilesh Yadav sat on the dharna. He said that the police is stopping us.
On stopping the opposition MPs marching towards the Election Commission headquarters by the police barricades at the Transport Bhavan, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that Rahul Gandhi has asked serious questions to the Election Commission and we deserve serious answers. The answers given so far seem to be formalities. The Election Commission should resolve these real concerns and share the data sought in a transparent manner.
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that our demand and requests are clear. All opposition MPs are conducting a peaceful march. At the end of March, we want to collectively submit a memorandum on Sir and other issues. We did not demand the delegation. The language was clear. Now we are not being allowed to reach the Election House, we have been stopped in PTI building itself. Just in front of Parliament, democracy is being attacked, he is being killed. This is a very clever and impeccable answer of the Election Commission.
