At the same time, the opposition has accused the government to steal votes through SIR. The Supreme Court has made a huge comment on the SIR report on Tuesday. The Supreme Court said that if the Bihar voter list is proved illegal, its results can be canceled by September. This comment of the Supreme Court is believed to be a positive thing for the opposition, as the opposition is constantly raising questions on SIR and is also demanding debate on the issue in Parliament.

There is a round of allegations and counter-allegations between the opposition and the Election Commission regarding the issue of voter list revision. On Tuesday too, the opposition staged a protest against SIR outside Parliament. During this, he made serious allegations against the government and the Election Commission. The opposition says that the BJP and the Election Commission are stealing votes together and snatching the rights of the public.
The SIR issue was heard in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. A bench of Justices Suryakant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi heard the case. During this time Justice Kant asked whether SIR could be used to eliminate fake voters. On this, the petitioner and political analyst Yogendra Yadav replied that the officials could not find a new name in any house after going from house to house. During this, Yogendra Yadav also mentioned demonetisation. He said that at least during demonetisation, the Reserve Bank of India had issued notifications. According to Yadav, SIR is failing in Bihar.
Election Commission has responsible for people
During the hearing on the SIR issue, Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that if people are potentially valid citizens and their name is already in the voter list, the Election Commission cannot turn this perception and cannot put all the weight on the voters. He said that in the name of intensive revision, the Election Commission has put the responsibility of proving its citizenship on individual voters and this is being done in a limited period of two months before the assembly elections.
