Theyam

Kerala’s Theyyam festival is an experience to see. In this, artists take the form of gods with colorful costumes and grand makeup. Fulag dei

Fulag Dei, celebrated in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, is a symbol of the arrival of spring. On this day, children decorate flowers from house to house and distribute sweets. This festival reflects the deep relationship between nature and the community. The special thing is that there is no need for any grand decoration to celebrate it, just the colorful flowers broken from the lap of nature are sufficient.

Bonalu

Bonalu is a major festival of Telangana, dedicated to Goddess Mahakali. During this festival, women worship Goddess Mahakali and offer them to Bonalu (Bhog). This festival is usually celebrated in the months of June and July and women from all over the state participate.

Hemis Festival

Hemis Festival is a major festival of Ladakh, which is celebrated on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Padmasambhava, the Guru of Buddhism. During this festival, people gather in the Hemis Math and worship Guru Padmasambhava. This festival is usually celebrated in the month of June and people from all over Ladakh participate in it.
