BJP leader Tarun Chugh has described the protest of the Bihar voter list against the special intensive revision (SIR) and the opposition against the ECI as an attempt to get political benefits. He accused the Congress and its allies that they were defaming an independent institution which is not right.

BJP leader Tarun Chugh told IANS, “It has been more than 10 days since the Draft voter list in Bihar by the Election Commission, but not a single objection has been received from the ‘Indy’ alliance so far. It has become clear that the opposition’s purpose is only to take political advantage by making uproar on the road.”

He said, “At the behest of his foreign masters, he is trying to discredit an independent institution like the Election Commission to please them. Allegations of double voting without any concrete evidence, fake documents waving, misleading the country and throwing mud on institutions have become the habit of the Congress party.”

He said, “Like every election, this time the draft list was given to all parties before and after. No one objected nor gave evidence. It shows that all his allegations are hollow. Drama is being done only in front of the camera by making noise. The whole country is seeing that Rahul Gandhi is seeing that Rahul Gandhi is trying to spoil and malign the atmosphere in the country on the gestures of foreign forces.”

Tarun Chugh attacked the Karnataka cabinet after KN Rajanna was dismissed from the Karnataka Cabinet after allegations of vote theft. He said, “Rahul Gandhi is the king of false campaigning. The Congress minister, who spewed the truth of vote theft, was removed from his post.”
