Ingredients for making Peda
2 cups milk powder
1 cup fresh cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Some strands of saffron
Almonds or pistachios
Method of making Peda
Step 1 Mix cream and milk powder
First of all, add 1 cup of cream to a pan and heat it on medium flame.
Now, add 2 cups of milk powder to it slowly and mix well so that there are no lumps.
Step-2 Add ghee and cook
Now add 2 tbsp ghee to it and cook while stirring continuously.
Let the mixture thicken slowly. It will have to cook for about 8-10 minutes.
Add sugar and cardamom powder
When the mixture thickens a little, add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to it.
If you want, you can also add saffron strands, which will enhance the color and taste of the peda.
Let the mixture cool down
Cook this mixture till it starts separating from the pan.
After this turn off the gas and let it cool down.
Make peda laddus
When it is lukewarm, apply some ghee on your hands and make small laddus.
If you want, you can also give the peda a flat shape.
Garnish and serve
Decorate the pedas with almond or pistachio pieces.
Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes to cool down, then offer it.

Tips for making pedas
If the mixture is overcooked and is drying up, then you can add some cream or milk.
You can increase or decrease the amount of sugar according to taste.
Keep the peda in an airtight container, so that it remains fresh for 4-5 days.
