Promoted Ligue 1 side Paris FC is in advanced talks with Swiss Super League side St. Gallen for the signing of French striker Willem Geubbels (23), as per Market football. Geubbels’ fine form with St. Gallen has caught the attention of several Ligue 1 sides recently. The 23-year-old has logged three goals in as many games with St. Gallen this season. In the previous campaign, Geubbels logged a remarkable return of 17 goals and three assists.
Paris FC are reportedly determined to offer Geubbels a way back into Ligue 1. The Lyon Academy product joined AS Monaco in a €20m move when he was still 16. Geubbels never really lived up to the hype and he left Monegasques as a free agent. Geubbels is reportedly interested in joining PFC. The promoted Ligue 1 side is in talks with St. Gallen and it is reported that a €10m could be agreed between both clubs. However, German and English clubs are also monitoring the former France youth international striker.
